Prity has extensive experience as a trusted legal advisor to Directors and Senior Managers/Officers in Children Social Care and other relevant Directorates. She has a proven track record of focusing on solutions and ensuring effective and timely outcomes for internal and external clients, local senior judiciary, commissioners and other professional stakeholders.
Prior to joining LGSS Law, Prity has gained experience of Chairing a Local Safeguarding Children Board, Chairing Serious Case Reviews (SCR’s), writing overview reports for the SCR process and delivering training regarding effective learning and implementation of “lessons learned” from SCR’ for over 40 SCR’s nationally.
Prity has substantial experience as an Independent Trainer, devising and delivering bespoke training in the Public and Health sector regarding the statutory and legislative framework underpinning Social Care and Court Skills. Prity’s training material (Aftermath of Re B, B-S) has been approved by the DfE, when she co-delivered training with Coram-BAAF (formerly BAAF) to Social Workers nationally.
Prity’s practise also includes being appointed as Chair/Vice-Chair of the Independent Review Mechanism Panel (IRM) dealing with reviews of adoption and fostering approvals for CORAM-BAAF.
